New apartment smells of cat piss- is this going to ruin my cat?

I have a 6 month old fixed male cat who has never sprayed. I got the keys today to a new apartment that smells strongly of cat piss and I’m afraid that if I move in my cat will start spraying and I won’t be able to break him of the habit afterward.

Is it a possibility that moving in here will end with my cat having spraying issues that will carry over to my next apartment?
