SoS! Bathing a Psychotic Cat Advice Please!

A bit of story for context; I've been 'pet sitting' this lady's two cats for four months now when I was only supposed to watch them for two weeks tops. I'm sick of no longer being payed. She doesn't stop by to give me supplies anymore either. I've given her a 7 day notice to pick them up or I'm dropping them off at the shelter. They are very dirty and need to be washed. The black cat is what I like to call bipolar. Perfectly fine one moment, mad, growling, and scratching you the next with out warning. I've washed her before an she turns into a panicking furry demon. I knew just by how she acted outside of the tub that I wasn't gonna be able to wash her like any other cat. Even when tied to something with a leash and harness I still can't wash this damn cat with out desperately trying to avoid damage to me and the items around me. The first time I bathed her, she chewed wholes in my shower hose! (which I can't afford to replace) The second time she climbed up my arm! If I wasn't wearing two lairs of dish washing gloves the damage to my arm would have been much more severe. I've never dealt with this before and I don't know what to do. I've washed my fair share of cats before have and never feared for my own safety like this. I legit feel this damn cat can't be washed with out being sedated first.

I need to bathe her again, but I feel like I can't do it with out taking drastic measures! Is there any way I can wash this crazy fucking cat with out putting her in the cat equivalent of a straight jacket?
