My dog(pyrenees) has horrible separation anxiety. If we leave the house for even ten minutes he'll tear up the curtains, scratch the walls, pull stuff off the counters, get into the trash etc. We're adopting two kittens in about a month and I'm wondering if having them in the house with him might help him when we aren't home so I don't have to leave him outside every single time we have to go somewhere. They will be exclusively inside cats, we had a cat in the past get hit and killed by a car so we aren't making that mistake again. Will it help? I know there will he a huge size difference but there will at least be two extra presences in the house with him so he won't feel totally alone.
