I adopted a cat about a month ago. She is very sweet and about 8 months old. She's so friendly and pretty playful too. Recently, I've noticed some destructive chewing. She chews on metal drawer handles, the glass shower wall, and even the walls of my home sometimes. I'm really concerned about this behavior. We play frequently for anywhere between 1 and 3 hours a day. She loves this! I've tried sticky tape but she's taken to licking or trying to chew that too. Orange spray doesn't seem to help either. I can't get to a vet right now with the quarantine restrictions so any advice would be helpful!
