I brought home a used bicycle and my cat is scared of it. She hid when I wheeled it in and when I brought her into the same room as it she was scared and tried to run. I put her in the other room with the door open but it's a pretty small apartment. I covered it with a blanket but that doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Any advice for what I can do to help my cat not be so scared of it? We live in an apartment, so if she won't go in the living room she doesn't have much space. I want her back to her normal self as soon as possible.
