For some reason it seems that natural/planted/bioactive type enclosures that mimic nature are, for some reason, exclusive to fish, reptile, and amphibian tanks. Is there any community for owners that keep mammals or birds or other pets in naturalistic enclosures?
Personally I find a large component of the beauty of pet keeping in the aesthetics of replicating nature to view your pet in a slice of the wild. I’m very curious to see if any other animals are kept this way.
plus how damn awesome would it be to see a dwarf hamster setup that looks straight out of the middle eastern desert bahahaha
