I just recently had the pleasure of having a ~6 month old kitten (f) added to my household, my other cat who is about a year and a half old (m) is getting along really well with the new addition, both of them belong to my roommate. But when they start playing sometimes I hear her give off a kind of high pitched “scream” (the best I could describe it). I never really see it with my own two eyes but I just come out to him standing over her. I was just curious if I was being over cautious and she is just getting vocal. Or if she is actually distressed and thinking he is going to hurt her.
