One of my cats is very picky and when it comes to wet food and the only thing he'll touch is tuna. We give them Applaws (alternating flavours between Tuna and Crab, Tuna and Prawn, Ocean Fish and Chicken), and he eats all the ones with tuna, but will go without really eating for the days when he's served chicken. He will nibble at his chicken flavoured dry food but doesn't eat enough to sustain him properly.
I've also tried other foods like other poultry (eg duck), beef, lamb, other fish (eg salmon, pollock) etc, but neither cat will eat these and they just end up in the bin. At least with chicken, my other cat will eat it and gets something besides tuna into his diet.
I know it's not safe for cats to eat tuna daily, but is this still applicable if it's tuna-based cat foods and not tuna made for humans? If so, any advice to get the little guy eating something else?
