Older dog - Never gets on furniture, was on couch this morning. Reduced appetite. Currently having shaking fits.

Hello!

We have a (roughly) 11 year old dog - australian shepherd, border collie, etc etc mix - he was in my life as a puppy until he was one or two years old and has just recently come back to live with me since the start of the year. He is very mild-mannered and is rarely very excitable. He absolutely never gets on furniture, we never find hair on the couches, and any attempts to put him on furniture when he first came back to us generally frustrate him.

I say this because this morning he was sleeping on the couch as if it was an every day thing.

Otherwise, the day progressed as usual, we went for a car ride, he has been out to use the bathroom.

He also hasn't eaten much in the last 24 hours, and his water intake is less than usual. This evening he also began to have what seemed like an anxiety attack, shaking while laying down and acting sort of starved for attention (looking around or rolling to his back if no one was near him or petting him).

Am I looking too much into this, or am I right in feeling that his behaviour could be raising some red flags?
