I have 2 female cats and I’m looking to get them desexed. The VET clinic lady I spoke to said it was $265 per cat. Although this would be better for them in the long run, my financial state is a bit ehhh....so I don’t know how I’m going to afford around $500 for just desexing. Are there any cheaper options? I heard shelters do it for cheaper but I’m not too sure. And is spaying/neutering the same thing as desexing? There are some discounts on desexing every year in July, BUT I don’t want to wait that long of course.
