My 3 year old cat has long nails, we haven’t been able to get them cut due to the salon closures, so my cat uses the scratchers for her nails. She goes a little hard and sometimes a piece of her nail will break off.
Long story short, she inhaled a piece of her nail in her left nostril. She’s fine but sometimes she will make a squeak sound when she breathes. It kinda reminds me of the sound my nose will produce when I breathe in and out (I have a deviated septum).
I don’t want to have my cat undergo surgery and be put on antibiotics as it seems like the only option to get it out. I’m not sure if I should leave it or do something.
