My complex is very pet friendly offering dog parks and walking trails. There is a pet rent and pet deposit that is required though. My family dog, she’s 9 so she’s an older calm dog, and i are very close . moving away for college has been hard i miss having my pup around. My parents said it was okay if i brought her home for a few days and i’m wondering if this is something my leasing office needs to know about? She doesn’t bark so i know that’s not an issue and i dont have to worry about puppy fiascos with her chewing things that could cause damages. I’d love to hear some thoughts and if anyone works for an apartment complex or has any insight on this situation i would love to hear! I just signed my fourth year lease here and they are very nice at the leasing office but if it’s a $500 pet deposit and $30 pet rent to keep my dog for a few days i dont think I’d be up for that.
