(Advice Needed) Dog Attacked By Unleashed Neighbor’s Dog
Hey guys I need advice...my dog (german shepherd) was attacked while we were out last night by a neighbor’s unleashed dog. This took place in Baltimore City if that matters...
Never been in a situation like this before: we were out for a late night walk. A neighbor’s garage door opens, out comes a large dog running straight for us. My dog barely had time to react before the unleashed dog reached us. My dog defended itself and lost a tooth and hurt her jaw in the process. The neighbor didn’t even apologize as I was taking my dog away. How should I go about getting the neighbor to pay for the vet bill we are now stuck with because of his negligence.
I understand it was not intentional but still.....I shouldn’t be stuck with hundreds/thousands in vet bills because of his negligence and lack of control over his dog. Thanks!!
