We are moving soon and will be separating my pup and her brother. They aren't siblings by blood but they were adopted around the same time and have lived together for almost 4 years now. We don't WANT to separate them but life has done a thing and now we have no choice. To make matters worse we've had half an acre worth of land but will be moving into an apartment :( We are moving somewhere with a lot of trails and nearby parks but it won't be the same. She will be alone only for an hour a day at least but she will be an only pup either way.
Any advice on how to make this transition smoother? And don't worry, we plan on getting her a brother or sister when we can but for now that's put on hold. She won't be alone forever but I worry for her during this time.
My pup is 5 years old and she's a Siberian husky! Her temperament is an excitable lovebug to all pups and people.
