I have severe cat allergies. My bf moved into a family’s extra apartment and the family member left the cat there. The family member was supposed to take the cat but hasn’t for a year now so it’s basically his. When I initially went dating I politely declined anyone with pets because I am allergic. My bf at the time didn’t have a pet.
So now I am at the point where I can’t even visit his place without hives and feeling my throat close. I was okay with meeting him outside but now the cat dander on his clothes get me. I can barely see my bf without feeling like I’m gonna die.
We want to move in together and he has plans to get the cat to the family member who owns it. I’m just wondering if I would even be able to live there with the lingering dander after a good clean or will I still have a reaction?
