I adopted a cat last year in June 2020 and it is going to be a year now since he has been living with us (family). My parents especially my parents are very much attached to him. Few days back he went missing from our house for 24hrs. We searched everywhere and my dad literally burst into tears and my mother just kept on going from door to door in search for him. He somehow came back in the rain with red ears. We think he was captured and tortured by someone in the neighbourhood. Anyways, he is back now and we are happy. He keeps on demanding us to let him out and just yowls infront of the door or the windows. If we don't do that he bites us and even bites when we put harness on him. We are trying to leash train him but he just rolls on the floor and pulls the leash away from our hands so that he can run. How should we approach to pacify and tame him a little ?
One more info: He is neutered. We got him neutered when he was 6 months old.
