My grandfather is on oxygen, meaning he has to take it through tubes that are often strewn out on the floor. I've been wanting to get a pet, but don't want to get one that could be a danger to him/his oxygen tubing. Can't get a cat because it'll play with the tubing, and can't get a dog for the same reason. What would be the best animal for me?
Just to clarify, I'm going to let it out of it's cage (if it requires one). I don't support leaving animals in cages for prolonged periods of time.
