I dont know where to put this; im curious though-
So, one of my neighbors have an outdoor cat and she loves my yard. I havent even talked or seen this neighbor as much as i have their cat just loitering lol
Shes sweet, she runs up to me when she sees me, rubs against me and I pet her, sit with her and she let me hold her once (she has a collar and comes from the same house and also goes there everytime ive seen her leave or come)
But, after a minute or two, she swipes at me and hisses when i try to even stand close to her, like a switch got flipped and she suddenly wants to bite me, sometimes it doesnt happen for a while but its always affection affection affection then suddenly trying to scratch me
I dont know why, its strange, at first i thought it was that she smelt my own cats on me because shes hissed at them in windows, but if she didnt like it that bad Im not sure she would be as affectionate as she is? if i was hurting her with how i pet her, i dont think shed bolt up to me like she does or stay in my yard?
Does anyone know why shed do this?
