Helloo, we just got a new kitten un ware of the age but somewhere around 6 weeks. We also have a dog (in her younger days) used to chase cats that lived in our neighborhood (because they used to hiss and run) Back then she was ill trained. Today she’s pretty chill and well behaved. A standard poodle age 5. We introduced them by holding the kitten and letting her smell. She seemed to give zero shits and just walked away. The kitten is quite small so at night before bed i put her in a carrier. And my dog just sits in front of it? Like she’s watching the carrier for hours. She’s not barking growling whining or anything so it’s fairly confusing if this a hunting tactic or if she’s just curious. How should we introduce them better so that they have a good relationship? And anything else I should do to socialize her? Thank you.
