Hi Y’all, thanks for any advice you can give.
I just adopted my kitty from the shelter. She is adapting beautifully, has good energy, and has normal healthy poop. Her tummy is a bit round- nothing alarmingly distended, but when I give her the 6-8 hours of pets she likes I notice the shape. She is exactly 8 weeks old and was fixed about 72 hours ago. She should have been dewormed at ages 2,4 and 6 weeks, but I know that might not be enough to kill everything.
I am debating bringing her to the vet, but she was pretty upset by the car ride to the apartment, and I don’t want to put her through that again so soon without just cause. Any thoughts? Am I a paranoid cat mom or should I just take her in. She has zero other symptoms.
