Context: A rehomed 7 month kitten from a single person household to a large family home. He was rehomed yesterday afternoon and it’s now nighttime.
So he’s in his own room with all his things from his previous home around him but he hasn’t come out of his cat cave at all even for food or water and I’m so worried about him. Is this normal behaviour? No one has been near him I’m order to not scare him and let him adjust, but I’ve advised to start start gently reaching out/petting and calling his name?
Any advice or indication on how long it will last is appreciated.
