My cat is 10 months old and male. He saw a vet about two months ago for a routine check up, and everything was normal.
Over the past few months, I've noticed that he twitches and shakes a lot in his sleep. I never thought much of it. Today he was asleep in his bed and shaking quite a bit. His eyes were slightly open and only the whites of them were visible. I panicked and tapped him, he immediately opened his eyes and hissed at me (hissing is extremely out of character for him). It's been about 10 minutes and he's now acting totally normal.
How concerned should I be? I plan on taking him to the vet, but what do you guys think? Was he having a nightmare or a seizure?
