So my kitty sometimes has a thing for chewing. He’s not a compulsory chewer but he sometimes goes after my wires - I had to use electrical tape because he exposed bared wires once.
Instead of punishing that behavior I want to redirect it onto some chew toys but nothing worked so far. Even catnip doesn’t seem to affect him.
So now I got some silvervine sticks and that seemed to do the trick! He spent about 10 minutes chewing on it and I thought nothing else of it. But later tonight I found like 1/3 of the stick gone. I know silvervine is safe but is the wood safe for ingestion? I don’t want him to have a stomachache or worse.
