Best we can figure, our dog had a stomach/GI issue which caused him to stop eating for awhile and vomit/poop bile for a day or so until we got him on some anti-nausea meds and a bland chicken, rice and wet food diet. He seems to be better but he's not eating his usual dry food now at all, aside from a few bites here or there (maybe a dozen pieces when we really pressure him).
He never goes this long without munching down a bowl and wanting us to refill. He'll eat just about anything else without hesitation so clearly it's his usual food that's the issue. We were at the end of a bag so we tossed it in case something was wrong with it and filled from a new one, but same problem. We've ruled out dental pain as well because he'll eat dental treats and chew his antler without issues.
Any tips for getting his taste back to normal? We really don't want to have to micromanage his meals the way we'd have to with wet food. He's extremely picky but he always loved his usual food before getting sick last week.
