Our 3 month kitten is very aggressive. Yesterday he got into a shelf on the TV stand and when we tried to remove him from there, he hissed and growled and lashed out and tried to scratch my boyfriend. Spray bottle didn't work. When my boyfriend put on gloves and picked him up from there he scratched and kept biting his hand very hard and even broke off his tooth.
This is not the first time this happens, once he was on the table and my boyfriend tried to shoo him away, he bit very hard right through the nail and drew blood. And there were more instances of such aggressive behavior, I've never had a cat in my whole life (and I've had 4) that would straight up attack you and purposefully try to hurt you. We're thinking of putting him down because this isn't the kind of behavior that is acceptable for a pet (what if he attacks our friends when they come over).
He is a mixed-breed 3 month old kitten, vaccinated, microchipped and otherwise well taken care, we have regular play sessions with him and he has plenty of toys.
Any advice would help a lot!
