So on the day my cat was getting neutered the vet saw a flea on its leg, and went ahead with surgery saying that it's OK and we should go ahead with the surgery. Post surgery we discovered that he's got fleas and no we can't even treat him with flea spray since he got his neutring done only 4 days ago. 1. What are my options to help my cat deal with this. 2. Was the doctor correct in suggesting to go ahead with the surgery despite spotting a flea?
