Looking into getting her on some anxiety meds, I rescued her from a shelter, and she came from an abusive home, she's a good girl, but she tends to chew things and destroy things when left alone, and the vet said it's a sign of anxiety or PTSD, they gave me some options for medication, I just am so worried to give a dog prescrition pills, like its basically xanax or prozac. Has anyone tried prescription meds in situations like this?
