Hi all, today one of my guinea pigs just gave birth to 4 new guinea pigs. So before back in March I put a female and a male guinea pig together without knowing and on May I found out that I had gotten a baby, I made the mistake of not separating the male and female pig and left them together for 1-3 days so I can get another cage to move the female pig with the baby. So I believe that this is why I just got 4 more babies.
So I moved the baby pig along with the mom, got them a new cage and I checked after 3-4 weeks to see if the baby pig is a male or female and it turns out to be a female so I left them alone while the male guinea pig is right next to them but blocked off so they can't mate. Today I walked outside and pulled off the covers and found out that the mom guinea pig just gave birth to 4 new babies. I don't know what to do since I know for sure that the first born guinea pig is a female so I am waiting for 3-4 weeks to check the babies so I can separate them.
Any advice on this?
Any help is appreciated
