Let say you get a DUI, for example, when you have your dog with you. If someone can’t claim the dog at the time, like if it’s 2am, do the police call animal control to get your dog? If so, will animal control hold the dog until you are out (since they know what happened and know you are the owner) Or would it count as being unclaimed?
