I’ve read that it’s crucial to spend at least 20 minutes a day playing with your cat. As an outdoor cat, mine simply does not have much interest in toys unless i spray them with catnip, whilst i do try to play with him he is indifferent to all of his toys. How often should I play with him? and how do I make that time stimulating?
I’m worried that he isn’t getting enough attention. Whilst I do pet him when he wants to be petted, he usually only meows for affection at late times in the night. I simply don’t have the ability to wake up at 3am to pet him, but I do also want to keep him healthy and happy.
