My first dog tiky was recently exhumed from my mothers yard . We made him a casket of cypress and buried him 15 years ago. I can’t across a pet funeral service that provides exhumation.
I have always regretted being in denial about putting him down when it was time. I will always feel guilty that he passed at home alone while I was at school. I regretted burying him and I am happy he will be home with me now that I am in my 30s and want him close.
A coworker of mine years ago showed me her custom ring that was made with her Macaw’s ashes and told me she found someone online or test to do it.
Have anyone done this and recommend anyone specific? Pictures are appreciated!
He was a Maltese and I had him when I was 5-18. He was my first love, my guardian and the only good thing in my childhood. I took a picture with him before every school dance, before any with my parents or my date.
Also want to make something (not with the ashes) for my older sisters who didn’t get to say goodbye and for my neice who he stuck by her when she was born sick and suffering from dumping syndrome and needed a stomach pump and constant care.
We have some hair we kept before he was buried but not enough to split up .
