I adopted a 5 year old cat last month who was on Hill's Science Diet. Finished 2 of the free small bags given to me and when ordering online I got the wrong one (Kibbles were way too big and she had trouble chewing them).
A friend gave me a bag of meow mix which I successfully transitioned her to, but after a couple days of only feeding her that she's been waking me up meowing and leading me to her bowl earlier than usual. (I usually feed her 1/3rd of the recommended amount at 5AM, 12PM, and 9PM since I wanted to stop free-feeding her).
Is she trying to tell me something's wrong or is she just overly hungry? I was planning on buying the correct food next time, which I don't know will make a difference since I free fed her that one, but after finishing the current bag of Meow Mix
