The title sounds bad, but I don't know what else to say. My mother passed away today, and I'm broke paying for school at the moment so I have no way of going to get her cat that she had for 16 years. The cat is all that's left of her, and her boyfriend is a psycho, and he doesn't have the money to feed it (not that I think he would if I sent money anyways). The dude is...seriously messed up. He scares me. Even if I had the money to load up and drive 22 hours, I'm not in a good headspace to do that. What would you do? Does anyone know of any pet transport services that are affordable?
