My dad and I went to california to get our 9 week old golden retriever. As we were traveling back, the puppy started having loose stools and he was pretty tired (we were thinking maybe from the traveling and having new people around). We were monitoring him through the night because he only ate a little bit of his dinner and kept having loose stools. My dad said he vomited once a little bit thru the night. This morning he kept having loose stools so far 9 loose stools since we got him and he’s been lethargic. He tried to vomit twice but nothing came out. He’s been drinking water from time to time. We kept contacting the breeder but he wouldn’t answer. We already made an appointment with the vet today.
