My cat was having some digestive issues. His poos weren’t forming correctly, often staying in his butthole and not pinching off. They would dangle and sometimes I’d have to gently pull them off.
My vet suggested I introduce some wet food in his diet. So I’ve done one thing of a perfect portion once a day. Starting from day one the poops are improved. Well formed long poos he covers up in the box.
However now he is ALWAYS begging for wet food. Constantly whining. He’s never been particularly vocal. Following me around, clawing at my legs, biting my legs, knocking down his water bowl, knocking down a glass of water I had.
I’ve tried playing with him, making sure his litter box is perfect, pet the crap out of him.
He’s never been this bad, even when I make tuna sandwiches (and he can smell it) or get rotisserie chicken from Whole Foods. (And smell it)
What do I do? I can’t stop wet food because his digestive health is important. But my sleep is important too.
