Hi reddit
I would really appreciate some advice with the following.
I have 2 resident cats (both neutered. 6 yo male-5 yo female) and brought home a new totally blind cat (5-6 months old). The kitty spent the first month in one room since needed to adjust to us the humans and also get rid of some parasites.
Then we started slowly the presentation protocol and it went quite well. We are now in the stage of opening the door, letting them to share the house space at certain times. And here is were we are kind of stuck. With the female cat, everything is fine. She doesn't love him but seems to tolerate. The male cat lets the blind kitty to wander around and doesn't intervene, but at some stage after approx. 30 min, he starts following him closely. The problem is that the kitty then wants to "play" with him and doesn't understand the signals. When the male cat hisses, the kitty sometimes insists and doesn't leave the room, and the old one attacks (nothing serious just to keep the distances).
And here is my question: Will, at some point, get along? What should we do next in order to unblock the situation?
Thank you for reading and sorry if It looks weird, English is not my mother tonge.
