Help. I am having the worst time with my Bouvier Des Flanders coat. He is one year old. The breed is double coated and the undercoat seems to mat as it grows out. The hair that should be pretty shaggy looking is only about 1 inch long but the undercoat that is much softer is matting. I have bought every dog grooming tool available but still have a problem. If you bathe him its gets much worse Any suggestions other than shaving him down..
