(Wasn’t sure if there was a better place to post this in, so please let me know if there is!)
My cat Luna (3 y.o.) has developed ringworm from our other kitten. She is very feisty and has gone so far as ripping a hole in my shirt when we’ve tried to give her oral treatments in the past.
Our vet gave us a topical treatment for this reason, but the ringworm is on the left side of her mouth, making it extremely difficult for my boyfriend and I to treat her without her feeling very uncomfortable and freaking out, usually ending with her running and hiding under the bed.
Does anyone have any solutions for treating cats who don’t like to be held, etc? This topical treatment has to be applied daily for 30 days and we really don’t want her anxiety to be worse than it already is.
Any tips are welcome!
