Regular vet and Animal hospital did not provide treatment, our cat almost died due to lack of treatment! Any advice on how to proceed?

Hi, Our young indoors cat first got disinterested in food and we immediately took him to his regular vet, his vet told us that it was probably psychological, then in two weeks, he got sick with fever and almost stopped eating and we took him again, his blood work showed elevated liver enzymes, yet no signs of infection therefore didn't provide any treatment. After couple of days, we took him to an animal hospital because he really crashed, stopped eating and had fever. Hospital took him in for three days, ran bunch of tests but did not provide any treatment, just IV liquids, and told us that we had to wait for all the results before they decide on a treatment. It took for a week to receive all the test results, meanwhile the cat lived on because we force fed him but had fever throughout the week.

At the end, animal hospital told us that they could not figure out what was wrong and emotionally pressured us to put him down because he was miserable and his breathing was repressed. They scheduled euthanasia for the following day, and we immediately took our cat to another hospital for second opinion on the matter because we did not think that his breathing was repressed. Next hospital told us that his breathing was normal, placed an e-tube for feeding and prescribed antibiotics. He literally get back on his feet on the second day of antibiotics, and doing well now after over a month.

What is your advice on the matter? All we can think of is writing a google review but we also would like to get some of our money back because the first hospital charged us a substantial amount. Any tips appreciated.
