So a few days ago my sister brought in a kitten she found in our backyard and we plan on finding if it’s chipped/ belongs to someone soon and if not we plan on adopting it but tonight at around 3:30 am i saw through our glass door an adult cat looking through and the moment i saw her she ran away. I’m worried that she came looking for her kitten and we are doing a bad thing taking the kitten in. I can’t really tell how old the kitten is but it doesnt look super young. What should I do? Just take it to the vet see if its chipped and if not adopt it? Or let it go? I kinda feel bad for the mom.
