I've been looking into ESAs (emotional support animals) and I'm trying to decide if I can make my living situation right for a dog. Say I got a small dog, 10-20lbs. Would it be reasonable to walk this dog 4-5 times a day, keeping him out for 1-2 hours to play on one of those walks, but then keep this dog in my small room when it's not outside. I feel like it could be entertained with toys enough until I get out again. it would be going with me everywhere also. I drive uber so I can walk it at anytime. Maybe even bring it with me. Is keeping a small dog in a small room cruel no matter how often I take it outside?
