I purchased Pet Insurance today, but I have a question as to how much I submit for medical history.

Hi-

I have two Goldens that I decided to purchase insurance for. When I only had one I decided against it, but given some life changes and realizing that if one got sick it could hurt me financially, I decided to purchase it. Helps me sleep better too.

Part of pet insurance as most of you know is needing to submit a medical exam from the past 12 months (or perhaps 14 days after purchase). I have no problem doing that, my question is should I submit anything prior to 12 months?

Thanks for the input. The insurance site says “Submit a complete medical history so there’s no surprises in what’s considered pre existing” but how would they even know of anything prior to 12 months ago?
