I really need some help. I just adopted a tiny black kitty and immediately after a couple days i noticed he had a spot above his eye. I was concerned but didn’t do anything. A couple days later his face has spots all over it that very much looks like ringworm. The vet thought it was as well and took a sample. Awaiting results.
This is a nightmare. I can’t touch my cat. Seems silly that I adopted him. I have to deep clean my apartment everyday. I have a small apartment with a bedroom, a main area with a kitchen and TINY living area, and a small bathroom. Can’t keep him in the bathroom because it doesn’t fit his litter box and bowls. Three away all of his stuff. He’s on an oral medication and I apply fungal cream twice a day.
I can’t keep living like this where I have to sterilize everything everyday. Can’t touch the cat. Freaking out when I touch anything. I don’t know what to do, the vet did not seem concerned at all he was just like “Yeah, probably ringworm, sorry”. And I don’t know if I am doing enough at all. But i can’t afford (the time or money) to keep this going for too long. Any advice would be appreciated so much.
