My dog currently stays home in a bigger house and while she is well potty trained, things do happen and sometimes she throws up or misses her pee pad. Right now most stuff is on hardwood or vinyl flooring so it’s pretty easy to clean, but I’m moving to an apartment that has half carpet.
I can put the pee pad in the bathroom or on a floor pad in the living room, but i’m still a bit worried especially since I live in a smaller studio. I also will be living alone and so if something happens while I’m at work, stuff might be soaking in the carpet for hours.
Do you all have any advice for how to take care of a dog in a smaller place? Should I get a bunch of rugs to put in place or some other protective covering? Or maybe I’m just being too paranoid and just should trust her? Thanks!
