Cat keeps urinating outside of litter box

Hello, hope you guys can help me with a problem I'm having.

About three weeks ago, we (me and my roommate) adopted two young kitten (then roughly 2-3 months old) from our local shelter. The first week was perfectly fine and they slowly got used to us. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, one of them started urinating on pillows, mattresses, couches, blankets, etc. The other one never does it.

-I went to the Vet and she doesn't have an infection. They gave us some kinda pain meds, but so far no change.

-We had two litterboxes, added another one and distributed them throughout the apartment. All of them have been used by both cats, but the problem still stands.

-I got an electric pheromone defuser, because we thought it might be stress, but so far it didn't work either.

-I clean the litter boxes every morning before I go to work and sporadically during the day whenever we notice the cats using them

-We didn't change the cat litter or anything else.

I don't know what else to try. She is using the litter boxes every day, but then decides the couch I'm sitting on, which is literally right next to her litter box, looks more appealing. Most of the time she did it during the night, but sometimes she does it while we are around. Is there something I'm missing? Any kind of tip is greatly appreciated.
