Cat won't eat after TECA surgery

So, we adopted a stray cat last year (~8 years old) and she has a few health issues, the most significant being a bad growth in her right ear. She's also very anxious and doesn't like it when we restrict her going outside (which we generally don't).

Cut a long story short, she got a TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) operation recently to deal with the ear growth where they basically remove the entire inner ear. By all accounts the surgery went quite well according to the vet with no significant side-effects. When she came back she still a bit sedated, hyper anxious and kept hiding behind the sofa. Unfortunately we also have to keep her inside for 10 days and she hates that.

When she first came back from the vet (last Friday), she didn't eat much but I assumed it would fade after the sedation and pain etc..wore off. However, we're 5 days on now and she is barely eating. Prior to this if you gave her chicken she would eat as much as you gave her, but now she'll barely take a bite...and she won't eat the other soft food she used to eat.

Any thoughts on what the cause might be or what can be done to get her eating again?
