Hey guys. I have two cats. One Female 2 years old the other male one and a half year old. My apartment got pretty messy during a long depressive episode. I’m cleaning now finally. It was really dusty in some parts of the apartment. I started cleaning and I think I’ve disturbed some of the dustier parts and now my cats are suddenly sneezing a lot. The girl had waterey eyes and was breathing though her mouth a few days ago but she’s looking better now. They are both still eating and using the litter box as normal. Jupiter (the girl) still has her energy and will sit up on top of the cupboards as normal. It’s kinda hard to tell when she’s not feeling well cuz she’s a naturally lazy cat most of the time. But they seem okay.
Everyone I know who has/had cats is telling me they’re probably fine and not to worry. I’m sorta strapped for cash for another week or so. The only vet near me taking new patients is overpriced and I don’t think I can afford them right now. When I got the cats I was working a full time job, and I plan on working full time hours again as soon as I can get them again. But I’m not sure if I will be able to take them to the vet for at least another week, possibly two depending on what my check is.
So I’m coming here for some peace of mind for now. Does it sound serious? Should I be freaking out or wait it out a little while?
