I don’t have much experience with pets. I feed stray cats often and there’s a stray cat who I’ve known for quite some time and usually roams around my house but he doesn’t play with me and doesn’t let me pet him often (he’s 3 years old I think). I feed him everyday and he comes to me only for food so idk much about actually being a cat mom/ dog mom. I’m planning to adopt/get a puppy. I start college soon so I may have to leave it alone for 6 hours. I’m sure I’d be able to love and care for it a lot and I’d like a pet which is friendly too. Which breed do you think is the best suited for me and what do I have to know before getting a puppy? Please don’t be rude in the comments :)
