Me and my Fiancé have 3 cats. Two of them are hers and they're both around 5. I got my first pet (as in the first one I have owned as an adult) and he's a black cat that just turned 2.
My cat, Bumi, is very affectionate and he follows me around everywhere and Me and him are super close. But I've always wanted a dog and I'm now in the position to get one. I've always seen myself as a dog person since I grew up with them but my cat is like my best friend.
I don't want the bond I have with my cat to change when or if I get a dog. Has anyone else had any experience with bringing a dog into a cat household?
