Hi all, We have a 6 month old cat here who is quite energetic and bits a lot but is also quite loving when he wants to be. We recently adopted another kitten (11 weeks old maybe) to keep our older one company. However the 6 month old keeps trying to attack the little one, we kept them separated at first but only have one room so they have to be together sometimes. He bites his neck and pins him down and I have to break it up as the little one will start making noise to tell his older friend it hurts but the older one will not let off! Would it be okay for me to keep them in the same room, but keep the younger kitten in a large ventilated box with toys and his litter tray? Or would this just agitate the older one further? How do I know if the older one is just trying to rough play, or is genuinely trying to kill the little one? Many thanks.
